A horse has caused a stir at a local stable in Kentucky after becoming obsessed with a man’s bald head. The horse, named Thunder, has been spotted nuzzling and rubbing his nose on the man’s head every time he’s near him, much to the amusement of onlookers.
According to the man, whose name has not been disclosed, Thunder’s fascination with his bald head began a few weeks ago when he started working at the stable. “At first, I thought it was just a random thing, but then it kept happening every time I came around,” he said. “Now, it’s like he can’t get enough of my head.”
The man, who is bald by choice, has become something of a celebrity at the stable, with other horse owners coming to watch Thunder’s interactions with him. “It’s really quite funny to see,” said one owner. “We’ve never seen anything like it before.”
Experts say that horses are naturally curious animals and can become fixated on certain things, including people. “It’s not uncommon for horses to develop strong bonds with humans, and sometimes that can manifest in unusual ways,” said a local equine expert.
For now, Thunder’s obsession with the man’s bald head shows no signs of slowing down, much to the delight of those at the stable. “We just can’t get enough of it,” said one stable worker. “It’s a bit weird, but it’s also kind of sweet.”
