A Lifelong Bond: Witness the Heartwarming Relationship Between a 40-Year-Old Horse and His Devoted 58-Year-Old Caretaker (Video).

Throughout our lives, all of us make a lot of friends, however, there are only a few of them who are true friends and are willing to help you when you are in need. At one point, friends can become as important as family members and it really important for everyone to have these friends as a life with true friends is a happier life and that is for sure.

These friends aren’t necessarily human but there are a lot of animals who have proven to be some of our best friends as well. Most of the people keep dogs and cats in their houses and they have seen what an impact they have had in their lives. The same goes for us here as well. Horses are our biggest friends and I believe we are all happy to have them in our lives.

Whenever we feel bad, it takes only a horse ride and you will feel instantly better and I am really glad that we have them to feel this way. In the video below we will watch a very unique friendship. Donnie MacAdams, 58, lives at Rough Terrain Farm in Vermont. His best friend is Waco Hanover, a former harness-racing Standardbred Chocolate Sundae.

Waco is 40 years old, which in case you didn’t know is the human equivalent of about 100 years! A fun fact for everyone January 1 is the universal birthday for every horse in North America. I never knew that! Waco comes from a very distinguished line of horses, you can find his pedigree online. When MacAdams first adopted Waco, Waco wasn’t eating. But Waco spent a lot of time with him and a friendship formed.

Eight years later and the two are now constant companions, they have not spent one night apart in all that time. What a beautiful friendship. It really makes me proud to be part of the horse world. Please have a look at the video and let us know what you think. Also, let us know more about how close you are with your horses.
