There will always be people or friends to give you a hand when life drags you down and we will always be grateful to the ones that helped us in the most difficult moments of our lives. Sometimes the same thing happens in the animal world. What you are going to watch in this video is a really moving moment of a horse who helps his friend and revives her just at the moment when she was about to be put down. The Shire horse named Beatrice was found collapsed in her stable after suffering equine colic or severe abdominal pain.

Due to her size and weight, the more she remained on the ground the more the possibility for her organs failure was. Her owners tried to give her a hand and pull her up in order that she stood on her own feet but their efforts were in vain. They even tied a strap to a tractor but even that didn’t work. It seemed that the owners had run out of ideas how to make her stand up. They knew the horse was in pain and her heart rate was in fatal levels so they decided to put her down. But a miracle happened.

Beau who had his time to be let around in the pasture decided not to go and run around but to go to his friends help. He began repeatedly biting Beatrice’s neck and lifting her head up. It was astonish to watch how Beatrice rolled over on the other side and then stood up. Since then she has made a full recovery and is now in perfect health conditions.  Ms Lipington, 60, said: “It is absolutely astonishing. We were prepared to lose her and had arranged for her to be put down but Beau knew what to do.” Watch the video!
