Live updates and highlights from Packers Family Night practice

The Green Bay Packers are holding their 10th practice of training camp on Saturday night inside Lambeau Field. What’s the big event? The team’s annual “Family Night” practice.

The Packers sold all available tickets and parking passes, so it’s possible attendance could approach 80,000. Green Bay is buzzing with Super Bowl expectations in Year 2 of the Jordan Love era.

Remember, the Packers are live streaming Family Night on Packers.com.

Packers Wire will track all the news and highlights from the practice:

— Speaking with Larry McCarren before the practice, Matt LaFleur said Family Night is “more” than just a practice. “The environment alone. It feels like a preseason game.”

— Packers RB Josh Jacobs said his new groin injury was a minor one. He’s already back and will participate on Saturday night, per Ryan Wood.

— Packers CB Carrington Valentine is still out with a hamstring injury, per Ryan Wood. He’ll miss his second straight practice.

— New absence for the Packers: edge rusher Kingsley Enagbare, per Matt Schneidman. It’s unclear what his injury issue is at this point. He’s had a strong camp, but he’s also working on a partially damaged ACL.

Here are the eight players not participating on Saturday night:

— Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph both started 1-for-1. They each made an extra point to start the practice.

— On back-to-back plays in 1-on-1s, Jordan Love hit Jayden Reed (vs. Kalen King) and Christian Watson (vs. Jaire Alexander) for long touchdowns. Two incredible throws.

Here’s the Watson touchdown:

— A few plays later, Bo Melton beat Robert Rochell for a score from rookie quarterback Michael Pratt.

— On the first play of 11-on-11, Love hit Watson for a big gain of an in-breaking route

— Eric Stokes broke up Love’s third-down pass intended for Romeo Doubs in 11-on-11.

— Nice run stop from Eric Wilson in 11-on-11. Fit his gap and was right there to make the stop.

— Drop from Ben Sims. He was open up the seam and would have had a big gainer. Ball from Love was high but certainly catchable.

— Both Greg Joseph and Anders Carlson made a pair of field goals. They are both 3-for-3 to start the night.

— A nice block from Elgton Jenkins helped spring a likely touchdown run for A.J. Dillon and the first-team offense during a red-zone period.

— Romeo Doubs went up and over Keisean Nixon for a short touchdown on a fade route in a red-zone period.

— Core memory unlocked for this kid:

— Caleb Jones is getting some first-team reps at right tackle in 11-on-11.

— Nice connection between Sean Clifford and Bo Melton for the second-team offense in 11-on-11. Beat Corey Ballentine.

— PBU for Quay Walker on a throw over the middle from Jordan Love in 11-on-11.

— Near interception for Javon Bullard. Broke hard on an underneath throw to Jayden Reed, who ended up having to play defensive back.

— Love to Doubs for a big gain. Doubs ran an incredible in-breaking route to get wide open. Protection held up just long enough.
