The atmosphere at Highmark Stadium is truly unmatched. And Bills Mafia showed up for the Buffalo Bills’ Divisional Round game against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night.
They were so loud, that even Dion Dawkins had to take a moment to show his appreciation. The star tackle was speaking to one of his teammates, and it just so happened that he was mic’d up.
“I know that you gotta lock in, but you ever just look at the fans? Like just look at them. Do you ever just take a second to look at them,” Dawkins asked.
“It’s the prettiest thing in the world,” he continued. “It’s beautiful. Our people. I love them to death.”
And after the NFL posted this video, Dawkins couldn’t help but repost it with one more comment.
“The mafia is one of a kind #YouAlreadyShnow,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Dawkins is one of the most valuable players on the team. In the Divisional Round, he was one of five offensive linemen who didn’t allow a single pressure. He was joined by his teammate, guard Connor McGovern.
As for the others, Commanders OT Trent Scott and guard Sam Cosmi, along with Chiefs C Creed Humphrey also allowed zero pressures.
Dawkins has spent his entire career with the Bills, being drafted by in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. So, he has plenty of experience with Bills Mafia. They love him and it’s very clear that the feeling is mutual.
