Josh Giddey was massive in the Chicago Bulls’ 119-111 win against the Miami Heat last night at the United Center, as he filled up the stat sheet anew.

The Australian international recorded 28 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, and three blocks on 11-for-19 shooting from the field in 40 minutes. It was his seventh triple-double of the 2024-25 campaign.
In doing so, Giddey joined LeBron James and Nikola Jokic as the only players to record at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, and 500 assists this year. He also became the third player in Chicago Bulls history to put up those single-season numbers alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, per StatMamba.

Giddey will be a restricted free agent this summer, and his recent form will help him build a case for why he deserves a lucrative contract extension.
Chicago Bulls aim to finish strong
The Chicago Bulls have now won four of their last five, and they will round out their regular season schedule with winnable games against the Washington Wizards and the Philadelphia 76ers.

They are currently ninth in the Western Conference at 37-43 . However, they can go as high as eighth if they take care of business and the Atlanta Hawks drop their remaining games.
Giddey is in fine form, but he cannot do it alone. He’ll need help from Coby White, Kevin Huerter , Nikola Vucevic, Matas Buzelis, and Patrick Williams.
