The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their final injury report on Friday, and it was mostly smiles for Bucs fans.
Mostly. Tampa Bay appears likely to be without a key part of their offense in Cade Otton, who is listed as doubtful with a knee injury. He was unable to practice all week. Todd Bowles mentioned him on Friday as being a game-time decision, but being listed as doubtful rather than questionable seems to have him trending in the wrong direction.
Otton is joined by K.J. Britt as doubtful game. Britt was able to practice in limited fashion on Thursday and Friday, but that still wasn’t even enough to earn him at least a questionable designation for the game. As such, J.J. Russell will fill in for Britt again on Sunday night.
The Bucs have one player questionable for Sunday in safety Mike Edwards, who managed to upgrade to a full practice on Friday.
A number of key Bucs managed to avoid a game designation. Mike Evans, Bucky Irving, Tristan Wirfs, Tykee Smith, Sterling Shepard, and Christian Izien are all cleared to play after being limited (or, in Wirfs case, missing practice) on Thursday.
On the other side of the ledger, Dallas will be without cornerback Trevon Diggs, who’s dealing with a knee injury. OLB Micah Parsons popped up on the injury report on Friday with an illness and is questionable for the game.
The Bucs and Cowboys get underway on Sunday night at 8:20 pm ET from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
