It is safe to say that New York Jets superstar cornerback Sauce Gardner will not be coming to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Barstool Sports’ Jersey Jerry, a known Steelers fan, tried to recruit Gardner while he was on his show, Fore Play.
Gardner reacted on X by jokingly poking fun at Jersey Jerry, saying that it was tampering. Of course, since Jersey Jerry is now working in the Steelers front office, it is not tampering.
Either way, Gardner might need a new deal with the Jets sometime soon, but he believes that will happen. So, he will not have to look outside the organization for a new home to give him money or a better role.

“But I can just get a new deal with the Jets this offseason, though, too, man. I love it; I love New York, man,” Gardner said.
Gardner was a prized pick of the Jets in the 2022 NFL Draft. The fourth overall selection, he became a two-time All-Pro right out of the gate in his career. He is coming off more of a down year, but basically, everyone in the Jets’ orbit had a down year. New coach Aaron Glenn will look to turn that around.
