BREAKING: Derrick Henry will be the difference maker for Ravens in Divisional Round.THANHDUNG

This Sunday in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs, Derrick Henry and the Baltimore Ravens will travel to Buffalo to face Josh Allen and the Bills.

Last weekend during Wild Card Weekend, Derrick Henry ran for 186 yards against the Pittsburg Steelers, putting him at 918 career playoff rushing yards. That makes him ninth in NFL history for career playoff rushing yards.

The last time the Ravens and Bills met in the playoffs in 2021, the Bills won 17-3. Lamar Jackson was 14-24, 164 yards, 1 Int. However, the two teams met earlier this year in Baltimore where the Ravens won 35-10 and Lamar was 13-18, 156 yards, 2 TDs passing and Derrick Henry had 24 carries for 199 yards, 1 TD. The biggest difference between these two games was Derrick Henry sharing the backfield with Lamar Jackson, creating one of the greatest mismatches the game has ever seen.

Derrick Henry, Lamar Jackson lead Ravens' elite rushing attack into Tampa Bay

During the regular season Derrick Henry had 325 carries, 1,921 yards, 16 TDs. This season for Derrick Henry puts him eleventh all time in single season rushing yards and he tied for league lead in rushing touchdowns.

The question is can the Bills defense find a way to slow down Derrick Henry? One big difference this Sunday is that the Bills defense is completely healthy. The first time these two teams met the Bills were missing three key starters on defense including, Terrell Bernard, Matt Milano, and Teron Johnson. The Bills’ run defense ranks 17th in the league, while the Ravens’ rushing offense is first.

Derrick Henry has had big playoff games before. When he was on the Titans in 2019 he ran for 182 yards and 1 TD against the Patriots, and 195 yards against the Ravens. Henry is averaging 115 yards per game in the playoffs in his career. Henry is looking to add to his list of great playoff performances on Sunday.
