49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk Stopped By Police For Bizarre Reason…TS.DHUNG.

Shocking reason why 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk was pulled over by cops after buying new $90,000 Jeep | Daily Mail OnlineA year ago it seemed every NFL team (except the San Francisco 49ers) wanted Brandon Aiyuk. At the start of this offseason, he was wanted by the police.

If even for a brief, mistaken moment.

Aiyuk is coming off a disappointing season with the Niners in which signed a $120 million contract extension and then caught only 25 passes for 374 yards and no touchdowns in seven games limited by injury.

As this season turns to next season in the NFL in the wake of the Philadelphia Eagles’ victory in the Super Bowl, Aiyuk bought himself a new car and … was promptly pulled over by police. He purchased a Grand Cherokee Trackhawk SUV that sells for approximately $90,000 and was immediately pulled over by a cop.

Said Aiyuk in video posted to his social media, “Brand new Trackhawk, Bro. I got the Trackhawk at 53 miles and got pulled over at 55 miles. I can’t make this up.”

In the video, the officer tells Aiyuk he was pulled over for driving an unregistered car, mentioning that Aiyuk had previously been cited for driving an unregistered Dodge Charger. But Aiyuk argued that the Charger was brand new, just like the Trackhawk.

The officer suggested that the vehicles Aiyuk has been driving are commonly stolen makes and models. However, the San Francisco receiver argued that the car wasn’t registered as stolen and that there was no reason for him to be pulled over as he isn’t the kind of person who needs to steal cars. The officer admitted he doesn’t watch football and wasn’t aware of Aiyuk’s financial situation.

Eventually, Aiyuk was cleared to leave without incident.

In the end, the receiver even joked with the officer, “You want me to pop the hood, too? Do you want to see what’s under the hood? You want to see what’s under the hood.”

Before pulling away, Aiyuk revved the engine and, while leaving, added, “I say, ‘You try to hear it?’ He said, ‘Hell, yeah! Go for it.'”

Getting pulled over after owning a car for only two miles is wild. Fortunately this story has a happy ending.
