The 2024 season for Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco was interrupted in Week 2 due to an injury. The two-time Super Bowl champion battled post-surgery recovery just in time to return to the lineup and help contribute to a third consecutive Super Bowl appearance.
The former Rutgers standout has been hard at work this offseason, planning to erase his injury-riddled 2024 season. He was recently seen working out on social media and is in great shape in preparation for next season.
Pacheco had an impressive 2023 season, finishing with 935 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, a mark he would like to return to and stay healthy. In 2024, he appeared in seven games and was limited to 83 carries for 310 yards and a touchdown.
“For me, that was to get better day in and day out and eliminate distractions,” said Pacheco after his first game back from injury last season. “I wanted to go out to the hot tub and the cold tub and do those extra things, but during the moment, I had to focus on what I had planned and then, on my own time, do the extra stuff.”
