All-Pro safety sends Pittsburgh Steelers stern warning about signing Aaron Rodgers: ‘I don’t trust him’.THANHDUNG

Former All-Pro safety Rodney Harrison has questions about the fit for Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rodgers, who will be 41 this season, has dealt with injuries over the last few seasons of his career.

In 2024, he played but was hampered by hamstring and knee issues. He missed most of the 2023 season with a torn achilles. That is not the recipe for success when the Steelers’ offensive line is still young and unproven.

“I look at Aaron Rodgers and everything that’s happened to him the last few years, and he just does not look like any resemblance of the same quarterback,” Harrison said on Football Night in America. “At times, he’s gonna give you some great moments in spot duty, but overall, I don’t trust him. I don’t trust that he’s gonna stay healthy. I don’t trust that it’s gonna be a good situation.”

NFL Week 13: New York Jets vs. Seattle Seahawks

Rodgers visited the Steelers facility last Friday and kept an open line of communication with the team going throughout the week. That has led to their belief the situation will be resolved sooner rather than later.

Rodgers remains in no rush to decide, however. The Steelers have not pushed back on that, though, and any idea the team would give him major flak for taking time to decide has little credence.
