“In honor of the Home Bakery in Rochester, Michigan, I will be giving away two home playoff tickets to the divisional round next week. So, win a chance to attend our divisional round next weekend. All you need to do is purchase any item at Home Bakery between Jan. 13 and Jan. 16 to enter the contest. The winner will be announced on Friday, Jan. 17. The raffle will be a random selection. I promise you I will take care of you with the seats. But shoutout to Home Bakery. The cake is nuts. I need a flick with it.”
The Oakland County bakery is displaying a 6-foot-tall cake depicting St. Brown’s Week 9 headstand touchdown celebration against the Green Bay Packers after a 24-14 victory inside Lambeau Field.
Home Bakery owner Heather Tocco said the cake displayed in the front window of the Oakland County bakery took her 160 hours to create.
Tocco said the displayed cake has garnered a lot of attention, especially on social media, including a re-post from Holly, the wife of head coach Dan Campbell.
“So I do have a special announcement. I don’t know if you guys have seen like a literal life-sized cake that Home Bakery made of me in Rochester, Michigan. When I first saw it, I was like, ‘No way, the attention to detail is ridiculous.’”
St. Brown said people were sending him direct messages on his Instagram, and his close friends were texting him about the display.
“People were sending me DMs on Instagram; my friends were texting me, telling me to check this out. This is definitely crazy, and I will check it out next week in person. I do want to see what it tastes like, too. I need a slice or something.”
