Andy Reid has taken the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl yet again after knocking out Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday.
Since joining the Chiefs in 2013, Reid has taken the organization to heights similar to that of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. He will now be coaching in his fifth Super Bowl with Kansas City, eyeing his fourth win and the first-ever NFL three-peat.
Amid all the success Kansas City has seen under Reid, many refuse to sit back and appreciate greatness. Instead, some are accusing the NFL and its officials of favoring the Chiefs throughout the historic run. This was brought into question on numerous occasions in the conference championship.
Even Pat McAfee is well aware of the accusations. On Wednesday, the former NFL punter had Reid join him on his show, “The Pat McAfee Show.” When McAfee asked if he had heard the conversation about the officials and the Chiefs, Reid gave his blunt response.
“I try not to pay attention to any of that stuff,” Reid said.

Reid also shared his high praise for Mahomes, who has been with Kansas City throughout the recent dynasty and the controversey.
“Yeah, well, you know the kid, and so he’s a great kid,” Reid added. “He grew up in a locker room. He’s humble. What a phenomenal teammate. He’s always complimenting his guys. He kind of knows when to pull on them and when to back off and compliment. He’s just got a good way about him, and he’s smart on top of all that and is a very hard worker.”
Reid and the Chiefs are favored to three-peat by 1.5 points (ESPN BET) at the time of this article. Kansas City will take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super LIX in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Feb. 9.
