BREAKING: Buffalo Bills Projected to Land 48-TD Threat to Pair With Josh Allen.THANHDUNG

The Buffalo Bills came up just one win short of the Super Bowl in 2024. Not only did they come up just short, there is reason to think they should have defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, but simply did not make the plays down the stretch.

Coming into the offseason, the Bills were expected to make some aggressive moves. That hasn’t happened just yet.

Among their bigger moves have been the additions of defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, defensive end Joey Bosa, and wide receiver Joshua Palmer.

So far, Buffalo has not brought in a lot more talent around franchise quarterback Josh Allen. However, Allen did receive a major pay raise, landing a six-year, $330 million contract extension.

Heading into the 2025 NFL draft, the Bills are scheduled to make their first pick at No. 30 overall in the first round.

Ian Valentino of A to Z Sports released a new mock draft recently. In that mock draft, he has Buffalo bringing in a 48-touchdown playmaker in the backfield.

Ohio State Buckeyes star running back TreVeyon Henderson was the projected pick. James Cook’s contract situation could also make this pick even more plausible.

“Does Buffalo want to pay James Cook $15 million a year? While he’s a good back, they’d be better off trading him for a pick and replacing him with a rookie who will earn as much over the duration of his first deal,” Valentino wrote.

“TreVeyon Henderson is an elite pass-blocker and explosive playmaker. There’s a decent shot he’ll be the best back in this class if he goes to the right situation, which Buffalo is.”

Henderson is coming off of a 2024 season with Ohio State that saw him help lead the team on a national championship run. He carried the football 144 times for 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns, while also catching 27 passes for 284 yards and another score. He scored 48 total touchdowns throughout his college career.

What kind of NFL running back could he become? Lance Zierlein of NFL.com believes current star Aaron Jones is a reasonable comparison.
