BREAKING: Charlie Kolar Returns to Practice From Injured Reserve.THANHDUNG

Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar is back on the practice field about a month after suffering a broken arm.

Kolar has been designated for return from injured reserve, starting his 21-day practice window and putting him on track for the playoffs or potentially the regular-season finale against the Cleveland Browns.

Head Coach John Harbaugh said the regular-season finale was the “target game” for Kolar’s return.

“Usually when you have a break like that, it’s pretty predictable,” Harbaugh said. “[Doctors] were telling us he would have a good chance to be back for the Cleveland game. We’ll see how he looks this week. Hopefully he’s feeling good and ready to go.”

Kolar’s broken arm happened on Nov. 25 against the Los Angeles Chargers, and he finished out the rest of the Ravens’ 30-23 victory despite the injury.

The third-year tight end is a key piece of the Ravens’ offense, particularly from a blocking perspective. Behind Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely in the receiving pecking order, Kolar has made some plays with nine catches for 131 yards and a touchdown.

After winning three games in 11 days, the Ravens had four days off following Christmas and returned healthier before preparing to take on the Cleveland Browns in the regular-season finale and heading into the playoffs.
