All eyes are on the Kansas City Chiefs as they prepare to defend their Super Bowl title, which just happens to be their second title in a row and third in the last five years.

They are now attempting to do the unthinkable by winning their third Super Bowl title in a row.

As they prepare to face the Houston Texans in the divisional round this weekend, they have made a couple of recent roster moves.

According to insider Aaron Wilson, the team signed young wide receiver Jason Brownlee and released veteran tight end Robert Tonyan from the practice squad.

Brownlee got his start in the NFL with the New York Jets in 2023 after going undrafted out of the University of Southern Mississippi.

The second-year player played in seven games as a rookie and caught five passes for 56 yards and a touchdown.

After being underutilized with the Jets, the former All-Sun Belt player now has a chance to capture a Super Bowl ring in Kansas City.

In regards to Tonyan, he had somewhat of a run with the Green Bay Packers after going undrafted out of Indiana State back in 2017.

His best season in the league came in 2020 when he caught 52 passes for 586 yards and 11 touchdowns (led the league).

Since his time ended with the Packers in 2022, he has bounced around with the Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, and the Chiefs.

Now, he will be looking for a new destination to continue his NFL career after being with three teams in the last two seasons.
