Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce won at last year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. He is nominated again this year with eyes on making it two in a row against his teammate, Patrick Mahomes.
The ten-time Pro Bowler is again up for Favorite Male Sports Star this year, in the category against Mahomes, Jayson Tatum, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Jalen Hurts, Shohei Ohtani, and Stephen Curry. The award was established in 2020, and Mahomes has yet to take home a Nickelodeon blimp in his illustrious career.
Kelce and his brother Jason are also nominated for the new category, Favorite Podcast, for their hit show, New Heights. The network regularly featured the Chiefs during its Super Bowl coverage over the past three seasons.
Music star Tyla will host the Kids’ Choice Awards, which will air on June 21 at 7 p.m. CT on Nickelodeon, TeenNick, Nicktoons, the Nick Jr. channel, MTV2, and CMT.
