BREAKING: Denver Broncos potential reunion with Von Miller hinges on one thing.THANHDUNG

The Denver Broncos are in the offseason carousel with NFL Free Agency and the NFL Draft approaching in the next two months. If the Buffalo Bills release veteran pass rusher Von Miller, does it open up the door for his potential return to Denver and if it does, why does it hinge on one condition?

Denver Broncos potential reunion with Von Miller hinges on one thing

After 4 straight wins, hungry Rams add Von Miller to defense

Von Miller is arguably one of the most storied and impactful players in Denver Broncos franchise history. He’s a former All-Pro, Pro Bowl, Super Bowl MVP and one of the best pass rushers in recent memory, but as his career is potentially nearing its end, could he wind up back where it all started?

ICYMI: NFL Salary Cap expected to increase significantly in 2025

Miller is anticipated to be a possible cap casualty for the Buffalo Bills this offseason, which would allow Miller to land with a new team in 2025. He’ll be 36 years old next season and has always expressed the desire to finish his career with the Broncos, even still revealing that he refers to himself still as a Bronco.

If he decides to retire, he’ll sign a contract with Denver to do so, but he could also play out one more season in Denver, but only under one condition.

Nik Bonitto and Jonathon Cooper have taken the pass-rush torch from Miller, who was the last Broncos player to amass double-digit sacks. Both Cooper and Bonitto each hit 10+ sacks last season.

Miller is one of Bonitto’s favorite players ever. He’s raved about that inside the locker room and has studied so much of his game as he’s evolved in his own.

The only way a Von and Broncos return would be possible is if Miller is willing to accept coming off the bench as a role player, which wouldn’t be a bad thing at this point of his career.

He didn’t start a game for the Buffalo Bills in the last two seasons and played in that role player type of role anyways, and still found a way to register six sacks, despite missing the first four games of last year due to being suspended by the NFL.

Miller would be a great veteran add to the room with Bonitto, Cooper, Jonah Elliss, and Dondrea Tillman, but it wouldn’t be a need for this Broncos team. You can’t help but visualize the hypothetical scenario if the Broncos went on a deep playoff run 10 years after they won Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara where he won Super Bowl 50 MVP.

Ironically, Super Bowl 60 is in Santa Clara this year, and a potential Miller-Broncos reunion would be a fun storyline to watch for.

Will it happen, though? I wouldn’t bank on it with 100% certainty, but if it does, it would be something a large portion of Broncos Country would be happy with.
