The Golden State Warriors kept their hot streak rolling on Thursday on the road against the Brooklyn Nets.

After a slow start to the game that saw them trail by as much as 22 points, the Warriors were able to turn thing around and complete the comeback and secure a 121-119 victory over Brooklyn.

This marked Golden State’s third consecutive victory and also their eighth win in their past 10 games.

Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors on Thursday as he recorded 40 points, four rebounds and four assists. Jimmy Butler added 25 points and six assists of his own in the comeback victory.

While Curry and Butler headlined the Warriors’ win, Draymond Green also had a great game. The star forward finished the game with seven points, 10 assists and seven rebounds, and he also made NBA history.

With Green posting another game with 10 assists, he now has the third most 10-assist games by a non-guard in NBA history. The only other players he trails are LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets.

This is an impressive feat for Green, and one that shows just how special of a player that he is.

Of course, Green is known for his antics during games as well as his elite defensive play, but the veteran forward is also an incredible playmaker, which this record shows.

In his career, the four-time NBA champion is averaging 5.6 assists per game and this season he is averaging 5.8 assists per contest.

Green never gets the credit he deserves for being one of the best playmakers in the NBA outside of the point guard spot, but his playmaking skills have helped the Warriors during their dynasty and continues to help them as they try to become a title contender once again this season.
