BREAKING: Former Chiefs player Kadarius Toney makes shocking claim about trying to strangle a woman, fans outraged after cruel words…. vannguyen

Former NFL wide receiver Kadarius Toney has been arrested on charges of aggravated assault and obstructing an emergency call, following allegations that he strangled a woman during a dispute in Douglasville, Georgia, on January 14, 2025. According to arrest warrants, Toney allegedly placed his hand around the woman’s throat, applying pressure that impeded her breathing, left visible red marks on her neck, and caused petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes. He is also accused of taking the woman’s phone to prevent her from contacting emergency services.

Warrants for Toney’s arrest were issued on January 15, and he was taken into custody on February 6. He was booked into the Douglas County Jail, with bond set at $25,000 for each charge. Toney was released on bail the same day.

Kadarius Toney, 26, was a first-round draft pick by the New York Giants in 2021 after a standout college career at the University of Florida. He was later traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022, where he contributed to their Super Bowl LVII victory, notably setting a record for the longest punt return in Super Bowl history with a 65-yard return.

However, his tenure with the Chiefs was marred by injuries and inconsistent performance, leading to his release before the 2024 season. Toney then signed with the Cleveland Browns in September 2024 but was released in December after a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he was penalized for taunting and muffed a punt.

Throughout his NFL career, Toney has recorded 82 receptions for 760 yards and three touchdowns, along with 23 rushing attempts for 115 yards and one touchdown over 35 regular-season games. His career has been characterized by both moments of promise and challenges, including injuries and off-field issues.

The recent allegations have elicited strong reactions from fans and the public, with many expressing outrage over the severity of the accusations. The NFL and its teams have faced increasing scrutiny regarding players’ off-field conduct, particularly in cases involving violence against women. As the legal process unfolds, Toney’s future in professional football remains uncertain, and the case highlights ongoing concerns about player behavior and accountability within the league.
