Brendan Hall isn’t lacking in confidence — and he’s making sure the NFL world knows it.
The towering former Montana State punter, standing at 6-foot-9, has accepted an invitation to attend the Green Bay Packers’ NFL rookie minicamp. But Hall isn’t just happy to be there — he’s already thinking much bigger.
“I’m going to be the next Tundra legend,” Hall proclaimed when asked about his opportunity with one of the league’s most storied franchises.
The statement sent a buzz through both Packers Nation and the broader NFL community. Known for his booming leg and commanding presence on the field, Hall dominated the college ranks in 2024, averaging 46.0 yards per punt with a long of 68 yards and earning second-team All-Big Sky honors.
Now, he’s stepping into a historic environment at Lambeau Field, famously dubbed the “frozen tundra,” where legends like Bart Starr, Reggie White, and Aaron Rodgers once cemented their legacies. Hall, however, believes there’s room for one more.
“I know punters don’t usually get the spotlight, but I’m here to change that. I’m here to make history,” he added with a grin.
Green Bay’s special teams unit has been an area of focus heading into 2025, and Hall’s combination of size, strength, and swagger could give him a real shot to crack the roster — especially if he impresses during the upcoming camps.
If nothing else, one thing is clear: Brendan Hall isn’t afraid of the moment. He’s embracing it, aiming to carve his own name into the frozen legend of Lambeau.
