Hailee Steinfeld is praising her fiancé, NFL star Josh Allen, after an incredible football season.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback’s season ended after the team was defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs at the AFC championship game on Jan. 26. But despite the loss, Steinfeld had nothing but support for her soon-to-be husband.
“To say the least, I am so proud of that man,” the actor told E! News in rare comments about her relationship with Allen. “Everything he’s done and everything that the team has done together, he is the hardest working person I know.”
Steinfeld spoke about her and Allen’s “worlds colliding” while promoting her upcoming Novartis Super Bowl commercial. The “Pitch Perfect” star called it a “bucket list” moment, while sharing how she grew up watching the Super Bowl for the ads and snacks.
“Now that’s different,” she said, seemingly referring to watching the sport because of Allen.

Back in December, Allen also expressed his love for his “biggest fan” and supporter.
“She’s been a huge part. The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best,” Allen told The Associated Press.
Steinfeld and Allen have been dating since 2023 and went Instagram official in July 2024. The couple has maintained a private relationship and have yet to make a public appearance together.
However, in late November, the pair announced that they were engaged in a joint Instagram post. In their post, Allen is seen down on one knee while Steinfeld rests her forehead on his. The two are outside, surrounded by candles on a green lawn and standing in front of a floral arch.
“11•22•24,” the engaged twosome captioned the post, also including an infinity sign emoji.
The 2025 Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, Feb. 9 with the Philadelphia Eagles going up against the Chiefs — a repeat of the 2023 game. Headlining this year’s Apple Music Super Bowl halftime show is Kendrick Lamar with special guest SZA.
