BREAKING: Jeanie Buss Drops a Bombshell on the NBA – Clear Indication on Luka Doncic’s Future as She Makes a Jaw-Dropping, Unexpected Shift on Anthony Davis, Redefining Franchise Power Dynamics!”.THANHDUNG

It’s been weeks since the blockbuster trade involving Luka Doncic and Anthony Davis took place. However, the basketball world is still reeling from its impact. But just when everyone thought the dust has settled, something new just came up. There are so many layers attached to this trade that make it so much more intriguing. However, the stakeholders involved in this earth-shattering trade did not know exactly how much impact this trade in going to make.

In a recent podcast, LA Lakers governor Jeanie Buss addressed this trade and spoke about its massive impact on not only the two teams or players but the entire world. Buss always knew this trade was going to shake up the NBA, but she didn’t see it having such a far-reaching impact. “I didn’t anticipate the global impact it would have. I mean, I knew it was going to be a big story in the NBA, but he really is a global superstar,” Buss said. Well, it was always going to be this big given Doncic’s popularity across the globe. Speaking of which she also expressed her excitement about the Slovenian hooper’s future in Los Angeles. “It’s gonna be a lot of fun. Our fans are already ecstatic.” Buss said. Sure enough, the Lakers fans have been buzzing with joy since Doncic’s arrival, I mean why shouldn’t they?

Since the point guard joined LA he’s been phenomenal! Not only that, he has also elevated the entire team. The Lakers boast an impressive 12-4 record since Doncic joined them. Moreover, at an individual level, he has been stellar as well, averaging 24.5 points, 8.4 rebounds, and eight assists per game. This is more than enough, to make the Lakers Nation happy. Well, they can be even more happy given the fact that Doncic might just be here to stay until he’s all done and dusted from playing basketball. How do we know? Well, it’s in the details. “I love that he wears 77 ’cause we’ve never had [a player wear that number]. Like, if he was wearing 24, it’s like, sorry, you can’t wear 24, it’s retired. But 77, we’ve never had a 77,” Buss further added while speaking on former NFL star Julian Edelman’s podcast. The Lakers governor loves the uniqueness the 26-year-old superstar brings with him. Moreover, she might have just indicated the most important thing through this. You see the later Kobe Bryant had his number retired for his remarkable achievements as a Lakers. So, Buss might just be indicating that Doncic could follow a similar fate by donning the purple and gold for the foreseeable future. On a much serious note, the Lakers governor Jeanie Buss spoke about this trade being heavily in favor of the LA-based franchise. Buss emphasized the fact that this trade was anything but one-sided and also that it was hard parting ways with AD.

Lakers Governor Jeanie Buss speaks about the hardships attached to this massive trade

Luka Doncic has found his footing in Los Angeles and has become a fan favorite within a short period of time. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Davis who had an injury after playing just three-quarters of basketball in a Mavericks uniform. As a result, a lot of people have been perceiving this as a one-sided trade. However, Lakers governor Jeanie Buss thinks otherwise. “A one-sided deal is eventually going to either fall apart or come back and haunt you. It’s just not the way to do business,” Buss said. She suggested that a one-sided deal never ends well.

But, given how good Doncic has been for the Lakers when compared to Dallas’ current situation it’s hard to believe that the Lakers haven’t got the better of this deal. However, Buss expressed how difficult it was parting ways with Anthony Davis, who has achieved so much in a Lakers uniform. Moreover, she took a U-turn on her previous statement. “Look what we had to give up though. Do you know how hard that was? We were not looking to trade Anthony Davis – Dallas contacted us. It was a deal that both sides wanted to make,” Buss stated.

While she stated that LA wasn’t looking to trade AD, she earlier talked about how they have lost three years in a row against the Nuggets and that it looked like nothing was going to change. Indicating that with Davis they wouldn’t have been able to take that next step toward the championship. Moreover, Davis wasn’t happy playing the five as well. So, it just made sense to make the trade and by the looks of it, LA has got the better package, even if Jeanie Buss denies it.
