The new $330 million contract extension will not lead Josh Allen to replace the current engagement ring he gave to Hailee Steinfeld. Allen chose to propose to Steinfeld at a mystical Malibu location that she described as magical. Allen and Steinfeld announced their relationship in 2024 after their first public appearance at the February red carpet event. Through social media the couple shows their continued love by sharing emotional photographs. No news about the upcoming wedding exists despite the couple showing remarkable bond strength.
Josh Allen confirms Hailee Steinfeld’s engagement ring is here to stay
The massive $330 million contract extension Josh Allen received will not alter the most essential parts of his life including his relationship with Hailee Steinfeld.
According to Allen the Buffalo Bills quarterback secured his position with the team until 2030 while declaring that his engagement ring for Steinfeld will never leave her finger. The 7News WKBW broadcasted a March 12 live stream interview which examined his billion-dollar contract extension while questioning if he had reserved money for wedding costs including potentially improving his ring for Hailee Steinfeld.
With a laugh, Allen responded, “A bigger ring, you said?” before shutting down the idea entirely. “Uh, nah, I think she likes the one she’s got.”
A fairytale proposal in Malibu that left Hailee Steinfeld speechless
Allen and Steinfeld made their engagement public on November 29 after he delivered an unreal proposal that had occurred a week prior. Allen surprised Steinfeld by dropping to his knee and proposing marriage as he watched her through candlelight with beautiful roses in the setting sun of Malibu Beach.
The newly proposed couple had a candid moment which became a proposal before Allen officially asked her to be his wife. In an interview with Who What Wear in February, she shared, “I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’”
For Steinfeld, it was nothing short of perfection. “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word,” she said.
