Green Bay, WI — The 2025 NFL schedule just dropped, and while fans across the league are circling dates and plotting predictions, Josh Jacobs made one thing crystal clear: he’s thinking big — Super Bowl big.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the schedule was released, the Green Bay Packers’ star running back didn’t hold back. “I’ve seen the schedule, and yeah, it’s tough. But I’m not here to play it safe. I came to Green Bay to win it all,” Jacobs said, his eyes locked with conviction. “We’re chasing a ring. Period.”
Jacobs, who signed with the Packers earlier this offseason after a standout run with the Raiders, brings not only Pro Bowl talent but also a fiery hunger for championship glory. And now, with the roadmap for the regular season laid out, his excitement — and expectations — have never been higher.
“This city lives and breathes football. These fans deserve another Lombardi,” he continued. “I’m going to give everything I’ve got to make that happen.”
The Packers’ 2025 schedule features several high-profile matchups, including a late-season showdown with the defending champion 49ers and a primetime clash with division rivals the Detroit Lions. But Jacobs isn’t flinching. If anything, the tougher the road, the more motivated he seems.
“Pressure makes diamonds,” he said with a grin. “Let’s shine.”
Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur praised Jacobs for his leadership and intensity. “He’s the kind of guy who sets the tone, both on and off the field. When your running back is dreaming about the Super Bowl in May — and backing it up in every workout — that energy spreads.”
Packers fans, already buzzing from the team’s playoff run last season, now have another reason to believe: their newest weapon isn’t just running toward the end zone — he’s charging full-speed toward February.
