NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that quarterback Mason Rudolph has agreed to a two-year deal to return to Pittsburgh.

It’s an $8 million contract to come back to the team that drafted him in the 3rd round.

“Rudolph mulled multiple offers, including a return to the Titans, but was motivated to head back to Pittsburgh,” wrote Garafolo.

Taken by the Steeles in the 3rd round of the 2018 draft. He signed a one-year deal with the Tennessee Titans last year.

“I love the Pittsburgh Steelers,” Rudolph said before free agency began last year and left for Tennessee. “They have been my only home for six years. We will see what happens. It’s not really my decision. A lot of it is out of my control, we will see what happens.”

He started five games for the Titans, going 1-4 with nine touchdowns, nine interceptions and a passer rating of 80.1.
