BREAKING: Mike Evans Reveals Thoughts on Myles Garrett Trade to Buccaneers.THANHDUNG

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wideout Mike Evans is the face of the franchise. He’s been the team’s best offensive player almost since arriving via Texas A&M in the 2014 NFL Draft at No. 7 overall.

He was the first-ever draft pick of the Jason Licht era in Tampa Bay. He’s also playing out the final year of his current two-year, $52 million deal he signed last offseason.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t have thoughts on the current state of the team or how to improve it.

When news broke that Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett wanted a trade out of town, the NFL world was shaken. Not only is Garrett one of the best defensive players in the league, he’s still in his prime at just 29 years old.

And Evans would love to have him in Tampa Bay.

“[Garrett will] look great in Bucs red, too,” Evans said. “We’ll take Myles. I’m talking about the starting five, but that, too.”

Garrett appeared on the Loose Cannons podcast to discuss among other things, the state of the Bucs. And made it known he’d be a fan of Licht trading for Garrett.

They’re both Aggies although they missed each other by a season. Evans played in College Station from 2011-13 and Garrett arrived the year after and played for Texas A&M from 2014-16.

While they didn’t wear Maroon & White at the same time, they’d look really good in Buccaneer Red and Pewter together.
