Fresh off an AFC Championship appearance, the Buffalo Bills have been aggressive in their pursuit of talent this offseason. Wanting to surround Josh Allen, who won his first career MVP Award this season, with the best possible roster to win the Super Bowl.

Allen himself earned a payday this offseason, in one of the biggest moves of the offseason, Allen inked a six-year, $330 million extension, keeping him with the Bills for the remainder of the decade. Allen’s deal tied him for the second highest-paid player per year ($55 million) in NFL history.

The Bills signed a pair of Los Angeles Chargers, wide receiver Josh Palmer, who comes to the Bills on a three-year, $36 million deal, and five-time Pro Bowler Joey Bosa, who looks to sure up the Bills’ pass rush on the edge for $12.6 million over one year.

The Bills didn’t stop their LA acquisitions there, adding versatile defender and Super Bowl Champion Michael Hoecht, who comes over from the Rams. Hoecht was signed to a three-year, $24 million deal. The Bills locked up another defensive tackle in Larry Ogunjobi for one year, paying him $8.3 million.

The Bills also signed running back Darrynton Evans and defensive back Darrick Forrest.

On Wednesday, Allen spoke to reporters and answered questions about his own contract and his future with Buffalo. Allen also revealed his thoughts on the team’s free-agent moves so far.

“I think we’ve been having a pretty good free agent run so far,” Allen said.

Allen wasn’t the only Bill who signed an extension. A couple of Allen’s favorite weapons will remain in town. Most notably, slot receiver Khalil Shakir, who signed a four-year, $60.2 million contract. Shakir had 821 yards, leading the Bills, and four touchdowns this past season.

The Bills also held on to third-down back Ty Johnson, keeping their ace in the hole for just $5 million over two seasons.

The Bills will also be returning a number of defensive weapons, starting with edge rusher Greg Rousseau, who landed a four-year, $80 million contract. Linebacker Terrell Bernard also inked a four-year deal, worth $50 million. Damar Hamlin also returned on a one-year deal.
