BREAKING NEWS: Kenny Pickett says it was ‘weird’ playing the Steelers on Sunday.THANHDUNG

The quarterback helped Pitt win an ACC Championship and was drafted in the 1st round by the Steelers.

Unfortunately, Pickett’s time didn’t last long in Pittsburgh. Why Pickett played poorly with the Steelers is debatable.

The scheme wasn’t good with Matt Canada, they didn’t play to Pickett’s strengths or…he isn’t good enough to be a starting QB in the NFL.

Whatever the reason really is, the Steelers decided to move on from the Heisman finalist and acquired Russell Wilson and Justin Fields this offseason.

They may have lost on Sunday, but the Wilson-led Steelers did clinch a postseason spot.

Pickett, now with the Steelers last opponent, the Eagles, didn’t play at all during Philadelphia’s win on Sunday, but he did saw it was “a little weird” playing his old team.

Pickett talked to PennLive’s Johnny McGonigal after the game and said he is “enjoying” his time in Philadelphia and that his family is close in New Jersey.

He also visited with several of his former Steelers teammates during warmups.

Pickett won’t get to play as long as Jalen Hurts is healthy, but his Eagles are can clinch the NFC East with a win over the Commanders this weekend.

Steelers clinch the AFC North if they can beat the Ravens in Baltimore.
