BREAKING NEWS: Lions Star Says Team’s Coaching Changes Don’t Matter.THANHDUNG

The Detroit Lions have gone through some major changes early in the 2025 NFL offseason.

They lost their offensive and defensive coordinators to head coaching jobs and a handful of other coaches from the 2024 staff.

It’s certainly not an ideal position to be in for a team that is trying to remain in Super Bowl contention after tying for the league’s best record this past season.

However, it seems one of the team’s biggest stars isn’t the slightest bit worried about the changes the organization has gone through this offseason.

During an appearance on “The Squeeze” podcast, Lions edge Aidan Hutchinson said that the coaching changes don’t matter.

I don’t care who they bring in to coach us. Keeping Dan there is what we all want, but coordinators, position coaches, it doesn’t matter. As long as we have the right guys in the locker room and those foundation guys on offense and on defense, you can roll anyone in there to call the plays and so long as we keep our core group we’re going to stay in this window of winning and we’re all pretty young, too. So hopefully that’s for a while.

Hutchinson’s thoughts will be put to the test during the 2025 season.

The reworked coaching staff has a high standard to live up to after the team finished 15-2 in 2024.

They’ll also be face with a first-place schedule and the toughest division in the league.

Luckily, they will have a ton of talent to work with and Hutchinson’s return from injury should give the team a huge boost next season.

Lions fans will have to hope Hutchinson is correct about the importance of these coaching changes as the team tries to get over the hump in 2025 and finally earn a spot in a Super Bowl.
