BREAKING NEWS: Ragnow is Back! Lions Center Removed from Injury Report, Ready to Face Bears.. – VC

Detroit Lions All-Pro center Frank Ragnow has been taken off the final injury report heading into a Week 16 matchup against the Chicago Bears.

Ragnow hadn’t practiced on Wednesday and Thursday as he had been dealing with a back injury but practiced in full on Friday, according to the team’s injury report.

Right guard Graham Glasgow hadn’t practiced all week until Friday, as he was a limited participant. Glasgow wasn’t expected to practice in any capacity on Friday, according to head coach Dan Campbell, as he deals with a knee injury.

Glasgow has started in every game this season so far. He’s one of three players to carry a questionable injury status into Sunday, joining safety Brian Branch (calf) and safety Ifeatu Melifonwu (hand). Branch was able to log limited practice sessions on Thursday and Friday while Melifonwu practiced in full all week.

Linebacker Jalen Reeves-Maybin has been ruled out with a neck injury this week. Reeves-Maybin logged two limited practices this week as he was designated to return from injured reserve on Thursday but he reportedly isn’t ready to return to game action quite yet.

Running back David Montgomery has also been ruled out as he rehabs a knee injury in hopes to return sometime during the Lions’ playoffs run.

Other players no longer listed on the Lions injury report entering this weekend include:

  • OT Taylor Decker
  • LB Trevor Nowaske
  • DL D.J. Reader
  • DL Za’Darius Smith
  • WR Amon-Ra St. Brown
  • OG Kevin Zeitler

The Bears have ruled out offensive tackle Ryan Bates (concussion) and have four players listed as questionable against Detroit:

  • DT Gervon Dexter (knee)
  • OT Teven Jenkins (calf)
  • OT Braxton Jones (concussion)
  • CB Jaylon Johnson (illness)

Running back Travis Homer is also doubtful to play as he deals with a hamstring injury.

The Lions (12-2) will look to keep pace for the NFC’s No. 1 seed, as the Philadelphia Eagles (12-2) and Minnesota Vikings (12-2) are hot on their tail after Detroit’s Week 15 loss to the Buffalo Bills at Ford Field.

The Bears and Lions will kick off at Soldier Field on Sunday at noon CT.
