BREAKING: Stefon Diggs Predicted to Pair With $220 Million QB in NFL Free Agency.THANHDUNG

Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs was limited to just eight starts in 2024 after tearing his ACL against the Indianapolis Colts in their 23-20 Week 8 win.

In that time, though, he was still an effective piece of the offense, accumulating 47 receptions, 496 yards and three touchdowns.

Despite general manager Nick Caserio’s appearance on SportsRadio 610’s “Payne & Pendergast,” stating that “the door is always open” on a potential return for Diggs, an extension has not been agreed on, and he’s set to hit the open market.

That means he will be free to sign with any team with free agency starting March 12, and Jacob Camenker of USA Today predicts he will end up with the Green Bay Packers.

“Diggs might not be a true No. 1 receiver anymore, but the Packers should still be intrigued by his availability,” Camenker wrote. “His inside/outside versatility would allow the team to change his and Jayden Reed’s alignment to create advantageous matchups while taking some pressure off the oft-injured Christian Watson to play every snap.”

That would pair him up with quarterback Jordan Love, who is gearing up to enter the second season of a four-year, $220 million contract.

Diggs would also bring support to a wide receiver group that didn’t produce big numbers in 2024, with the most efficient player being Reed, who had 55 receptions, 857 yards and six touchdowns.

If he can return to being the player who earned four straight Pro Bowl appearances from 2020 to 2023, then Diggs could be well worth the $13.5 million annually that Spotrac predicts he will make.
