Buccaneers vs Ravens history: When was the last time Tampa Bay beat Baltimore?.TS.THANHDUNG

Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season is being capped off with quite the matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Baltimore Ravens. Both teams have plenty of reason to be hopeful whether Monday Night Football results in a win or loss for each side, as their young seasons have been home to some big-time moments and performances.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Baltimore Ravens history and matchups

Each team coming into the matchup with a record of 4-2 and some equally-exciting offensive weapons, this game should be home to a heavyweight battle amidst an already-fun playoff race in both conferences.

The Ravens come in having won four in a row, while the Bucs have won two of three and each squad is home to one of multiple potential MVP candidates in this contest. Lamar Jackson very well could be in the conversation once again, although his back field mate Derrick Henry has made quite the impact as well.

On Tampa’s side, Baker Mayfield is off to the best start of his career, and that’s saying something after the career year he put up in 2023. Mayfield entered Week 7 leading the league with 15 touchdown passes, and hopefully, his masterful season thus far can help buck a recent trend between these two teams.

When is the last time Tampa Bay beat Baltimore? You could say it’s been a while.

The Bucs haven’t beaten the Ravens in over two decades

Coming into this prime time game, the Bucs have not beaten the Ravens in over 20 years, with their last win coming September 15, 2002.

We’re talking Brad Johnson, Mike Alstott Bucs, folks. We’re talking Derrick Brooks, John Lynch and Ronde Barber, here.

Yeah, it’s been quite a while.

In the all-time series, Tampa Bay has lost five in a row and is 2-5 against Baltimore overall.

The last time these two teams played one another came on October 27, 2022 when Tom Brady threw for 325 yards and a touchdown. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin combined for 12 receptions and 198 yards but were kept out of the end zone.

Brady was also sacked three times and the Bucs run game was stifled, going for just 44 yards as a team on that day.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson threw for a pair of scores, Devin Duvernay added an unforeseen rushing touchdown and Justin Houston notched a pair of sacks on Brady en route to a 27-22 win for Baltimore.

The most lopsided game in this series’ history came back in 2014, when the Ravens defeated Tampa Bay by a score of 48-17. We’ll save Bucs fans too much history, here, having to only mention one single name: Mike Glennon.
