James Cook made his feelings known on Thursday morning.
The full Pro Bowl rosters were announced, but the Bills star running back was left off.
And he didn’t hold back, posting on X, formerly known as Twitter, about this snub.
“😂😂😂it be wild your best still ain’t enough but hey🤷🏾♂️🤐,” Cook wrote.
Instead, it was Baltimore Ravens’ Derrick Henry, Houston Texans’ Joe Mixon, and Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor who were named as the three AFC starters.
Cook is known to be more of a soft-spoken guy, so him verbalizing this speaks volumes.
In his 15 games played this season, Cook has 197 carries for 981 rushing yards along with 32 receptions for 258 receiving yards. However, let’s look at his touchdown statistics.
Cook has 15 rushing touchdowns this season, the most of any player in the league. Plus, he can add two receiving ones to that list as well.
But, he received some support from a fellow running back.
“Just keep doing what your doing and let the bag in a few weeks speak for itself🤞🏾💜💰,” Dallas Cowboys running back Dalvin Cook responded.
Instead, Cook was one of eight Bills players who were named as AFC alternates. He was joined by center Connor Mcgovern, safety Damar Hamlin, linebacker Terrel Bernard, fullback Reggie Gilliam, defensive tackle Ed Oliver, offensive tackle Spencer Brown, tight end Dalton Kincaid
As for Buffalo players that made it as starters, that went to quarterback Josh Allen and offensive tackle Dion Dawkins.
But, Cook not making it as a starter is certainly a controversial decision by the NFL.
