Done Deal: Just In FSU flips 4-star Highly Rated Superstar From SEC Rivals. – VC

Florida State football made a significant recruiting move on Friday, flipping four-star edge rusher from Ole Miss. Lee announced his decision during a ceremony at his high school, solidifying his commitment to the Seminoles.

Previously committed to Ole Miss since October 27, Lee reconsidered his options after Florida State made a late push for his services. The Seminoles hosted Lee on an official visit last weekend during their home game against Florida, a visit that proved pivotal in swaying his decision.

Hailing from Dothan, Alabama, Lee plays high school football in Milton, Florida, where he has built an impressive resume. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 245 pounds, Lee showcased his defensive prowess during his senior season at Pace High School. He recorded 87 total tackles, a remarkable 40 tackles for loss (TFL), and six sacks, establishing himself as a disruptive force on the field.

According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Lee is the No. 278 overall prospect nationally and the No. 29 defensive lineman in the 2024 class. His commitment adds depth and talent to Florida State’s defensive line and reflects the program’s ability to secure high-impact recruits, even late in the cycle.

Lee’s decision marks a recruiting win for the Seminoles as they continue to build a strong 2024 class under head coach Mike Norvell. His size, athleticism, and production make him a valuable addition to Florida State’s defense, which aims to maintain its dominance in the ACC and compete at a national level.

This flip not only strengthens Florida State’s defensive front but also underscores the program’s momentum on the recruiting trail. As signing day approaches, the Seminoles continue to position themselves as a top destination for elite talent.
