Free agency has been really good for the Minnesota Vikings. They have fortified the trenches on both sides of the ball with players who will make an immediate impact. They also fortified the cornerback position to get them in a good enough spot where they don’t have to force any single position during the NFL Draft.
While they were able to bring in a lot of talent, there were multiple players who chose to leave the Vikings. One of those is safety Camryn Bynum.
Camryn Bynum releases heartfelt message to Vikings fans
One of the tougher losses for the Vikings was Bynum, who signed a four-year, $60 million contract with the Indianapolis Colts. The loss of Bynum is a tough one, but it opens the door for Theo Jackson to get the opportunity he deserves.
Two weeks after signing on the bottom line, Bynum released a heartfelt tweet thanking everyone for his time in Minnesota.
Bynum did thank everyone, but his words to the fanbase resonated hard.
“To the fans and community: Your support over the years means the world to me. Performing in front of you guys every week was a real movie! You guys were the ones that made it a movie! I fed off your energy every week! It was an honor being able to give back to my community. The whole community gave me a “why” on and off of the field. I love you all and I look forward to seeing everyone in the future and serving with you guys again!”
Bynum was a special player and one of the key pieces from the Stefon Diggs trade, which was a fourth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Vikings will certainly miss Bynum as he will miss the Vikings, but both will be in great situations moving forward.
No matter what, we’ll always have the Parent Trap and High School Musical dances.
