Thieves ransacked the houses of several NFL stars, including Travis Kelce, stealing numerous emotional items a month back. Thankfully, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was busy playing the 2024 NFL season and girlfriend Taylor Swift was away for her Eras tour. However, Kelce remains unsatisfied with police security and has planned additional measures to avoid such incidents in the future.

A source close to the media outlet US Sun has come forth and revealed the Chiefs’ tight end’s feelings about the burglary. Allegedly, Travis Kelce has planned to upgrade the alarm system of his house to stay safe from such happenings again. The decision was taken considering the work Kelce has been doing at the house. Along with him, fellow NFL star Patrick Mahomes who was also a victim of the burglaries, described the incident as ‘frustrating’. Meanwhile, Kelce hoped to reclaim some of his belongings.

Reports indicate that thieves stole Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl jersey, which he wore when he defeated the San Francisco 49ers in 2020. Along with that, several of his other NFL memos remain missing, including several NFL jerseys. The items hold emotional value to Kelce, serving as a reminder of achievements in his career life. In addition to other items, the robbers stole $100,000 worth of jewelry from his home.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reported that the houses of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were robbed within hours of each other. The officials reported to Mahomes’ Belton property at 12:08 a.m. and discovered signs of a break-in. Later on, at 7 p.m. on October 7, the police reported a burglary at Travis Kelce’s estate in Leawood, Kansas. The robbers, knowing the NFL stars would be away, carried out the robbery in a well-planned manner.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have currently been apart to fulfill the demands of their professional careers. While the latter will have no holidays with his prevailing NFL season, the global popstar will. Swift’s Eras tour schedule will wrap up in December with final shows in Vancouver.
