George Kittle’s wife has voiced their displeasure with the San Francisco 49ers after they cut their captain and the tight end ‘s best friend in Kyle Juszczyk .
Arguably the league’s best full-back, Juszczyk has been a beloved figure within the Niners locker room and an important piece in Kyle Shanahan’s offense as both a receiver and a rushing threat. His wife, Kristin, has also hit the headlines for her fashion designs, famously worn by Taylor Swift and other NFL WAGs.
But after spending nine years with the team, and despite being a Pro Bowler last season, he has been cut to save the Niners some cap space as they have continued to purge their roster. Juszczyk is one of a number of starters to have left the team in recent weeks with San Francisco potentially looking to rebuild, despite making the Super Bowl last year.
In reaction to the news, Kittle’s wife, Claire, wrote on Instagram: “Just rip our hearts out why don’t you,” while posting a picture of her and George with Kyle Juszczyk and his wife Kristin.
