GOOD NEWS: Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver returns from injury with new team for playoffs.THANHDUNG

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Simi Fehoko will return to the Los Angeles Chargers for their postseason run, with his first game back being against the Houston Texans. Fehoko suffered an elbow injury that landed him on injured reserve, but as the team’s primary blocking receiver, he is someone that the Chargers hope can ignite their running game.

Simi Fehoko is an intriguing player from a physical standpoint but will his age deter a team like the Browns from taking him

The Steelers signed Fehoko to their practice squad last year after he was released by the Dallas Cowboys, but he was signed off the practice squad by the Chargers. Since that moment, Fehoko has continued to stay on the Chargers’ active roster.

The 27-year-old is a Stanford product who was a fifth-round pick by the Cowboys in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has just seven receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown in his career, but Fehoko’s value has gone beyond just running routes.

He also plays on special teams in addition to his role as a blocker, and with the Chargers’ identity tied to their running game, Fehoko should be a boost for them.
