GOOD NEWS: Minnesota Vikings Legend Randy Moss Officially Voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Minnesota Vikings fans have reason to celebrate as legendary wide receiver Randy Moss has officially been voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The announcement cements Moss’ legacy as one of the greatest players in NFL history and a true icon of the game.

A Career for the Ages

Moss, who played for the Vikings from 1998 to 2004 and returned briefly in 2010, revolutionized the wide receiver position with his speed, athleticism, and ability to make spectacular catches. His impact was immediate—he set the NFL rookie record with 17 touchdown receptions in 1998, helping lead the Vikings to a 15-1 record that season.

Over his illustrious career, Moss recorded 982 receptions, 15,292 yards, and 156 touchdowns, ranking among the all-time greats in multiple statistical categories. He was a six-time Pro Bowler, four-time First-Team All-Pro, and a member of the NFL’s 100th Anniversary Team.

Vikings Fans Celebrate the Hall of Fame Honor

Minnesota fans have long considered Moss one of the franchise’s greatest players, and his induction into the Hall of Fame is a well-deserved recognition of his contributions to the game. Vikings owner Mark Wilf praised Moss, stating:
“Randy changed the game. His impact on our franchise and the league as a whole will never be forgotten.”

Former teammates, including Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter, also congratulated Moss on his induction. Carter, who played alongside Moss in Minnesota, said:
“Randy was one of the most talented players I’ve ever seen. He made the impossible look easy.”

A Fitting Honor for a Generational Talent

Moss joins a legendary class of inductees, solidifying his place in football history. His famous phrase—“You got Moss’d!”—became a part of football culture, describing his ability to leap over defenders and make jaw-dropping catches.

With this Hall of Fame induction, Randy Moss’ legacy as one of the most electrifying players in NFL history is now officially immortalized in Canton.
