Josh Allen had a big night at the 2024 NFL Honors on Thursday night, as he won the first MVP award of his career. He and his fiancee, popular actress Hailee Steinfeld, dominated the headlines from this event, and a new video of Steinfeld reacting to some big news from Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has taken over the internet.
After seeing his top competitor, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson earn a spot on the All-Pro first team, Allen was the underdog in the MVP race on Thursday. However, he ended up coming out on top, and he sent a strong message to Steinfeld to conclude his acceptance speech.
“Last but not least to my fiancée Hailee,” Allen said. “You’ve been my rock and my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”

While Allen winning MVP was the biggest news of the night, it wasn’t the only notable announcement of the night. One big one would come from Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, as they revealed they were expecting their first child together, which led to a big reaction from Steinfeld once she found out.
“Oh my God, congratulations,” Steinfeld can be heard saying to Harper after finding out the news.
Goff and Harper got engaged back in 2022, and eventually married in June of 2024. At the NFL Honors on Thursday, the couple made the big announcement that Harper was pregnant.
Allen and Steinfeld began dating in May of 2023, and they got engaged during Buffalo’s bye week during the 2024 campaign in November. It’s safe to say it’s been a big year for not just this couple, but also Goff and Harper.
So while it will be business as usual for these guys when they return to action in 2025, their personal lives off the field will likely end up being a bit different.
