‘He’s really going to change the landscape’: Packers set to make Travis Hunter possibly highest-paid NFL player ever in astonishing prediction-bb

Travis Hunter is not just another football prospect—he is a generational talent with the ability to redefine what is possible in the NFL. Known for his exceptional skills as both a lockdown cornerback and an elite wide receiver, Hunter’s aspirations of playing both positions at the professional level have sparked considerable debate. While many remain skeptical, Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs believes that if Hunter can pull it off, he could become the highest-paid player in NFL history.

Historically, NFL players have specialized in one position, with cornerbacks focused on shutting down receivers and wideouts dedicated to scoring. The last true two-way star at the professional level was Deion Sanders, and even he played both positions sparingly. However, Hunter has made it clear that he wants to continue playing on both sides of the ball, a bold ambition that could shake up the league’s traditional structure.

The transition from college football to the NFL is always challenging, but for a player attempting to master two demanding roles, the concerns multiply. The biggest question surrounding Hunter’s potential NFL career is whether his body can endure the relentless physical toll of playing both ways at the highest level. Jacobs, however, believes the risk is worth taking.

During a recent appearance on the ZIAS! YouTube channel, Jacobs was asked about Hunter’s future and whether playing both offense and defense was a realistic goal in the NFL. Without hesitation, the star running back expressed his confidence in Hunter’s ability to revolutionize the game.

“If he is able to do it [play both sides] though, he is gon’ have to be the highest paid player all time,” Jacobs stated firmly.

His reasoning is simple—if Hunter can effectively play both positions at an elite level, a team would essentially be getting two star players in one. Given that quarterbacks have historically commanded the highest salaries in the league, it would be unprecedented for a non-QB to reach such financial heights. But as Jacobs pointed out, Hunter is no ordinary player.

“I think you give him… I think he earned the right. You give him a chance to at least see. I think he earned that, you feel me?” Jacobs added, reinforcing his belief that Hunter deserves an opportunity to prove himself.

Despite the excitement surrounding Hunter’s potential, the reality of playing both offense and defense in the NFL presents a major challenge. The league’s grueling schedule and high-intensity games take a toll on even the most physically gifted athletes. Jacobs acknowledged this concern, noting that Hunter’s ability to stay healthy would ultimately determine whether his two-way dream becomes a reality.
