Johnson is a veteran and has been a leader in the Steelers offense with stellar seasons, including a 1,000-yard rushing season. For the Texans, his presence could be a game-changer as the team struggles to find a spark at wide receiver.

“We’re going to continue to give Johnson more opportunities and see how he can help us,” Ryans continued. “His stock is unquestioned. It’s just a matter of figuring out how to get him into our offensive system quickly. We’re working on getting him in positions where he can maximize his potential because he’s a very capable player.”

The Texans are counting on Johnson as they prepare for the playoffs. In the absence of stars like Dell and Diggs, Johnson is expected to bring some much-needed stability and explosiveness to the offense.
