If you’re a MInnesota Vikings fan, chances are you’re locked into another team’s sport right now as the NFL offseason reaches its brutal stretch.

Many Vikes fans have enjoyed watching the Timberwolves’ run in the NBA Playoffs, but it’s not only the fans: Justin Jefferson and JJ McCarthy were there to watch the Wolves close out their series against the Golden State Warriors.

While enjoying their time court side, McCarthy and Jefferson were caught on video sharing the same wild basketball take: Michael Jordan is not their GOAT. Instead, the two of them are rolling with Steph Curry.

After Curry came over to greet Jefferson and McCarthy, the quarterback was seen on video saying, “greatest of all time,” to which Jefferson agreed.

This take comes as a bit of a shock to most, because if a younger person these days were to be asked the question about their “GOAT” of basketball, it’s always been between Jordan and LeBron.

But, rolling with Curry is definitely a take. It also reflects the way the NBA has shifted. Today’s game of basketball is so much more dependent on the ability to knock down long-range shots.

And, if anyone has perfected the art of shooting from long distance, it’s Curry.

I would venture to guess most Vikings fans find it difficult to see anything wrong with their starting quarterback and star wide receiver. They are beloved by the Twin Cities, that’s for sure.

But, for some of the Vikings fans over the age of 30 and beyond, this is where a line might be drawn. Curry is a phenomenal player, but this only goes to show that Jefferson and McCarthy haven’t watched enough of a guy like Jordan, or possibly even LeBron, at that rate.
