Juan Martin del Potro is still struggling with injury problems. Even after retirement, he is suffering daily, from pain, from his inability to play tennis or any other sports, as he revealed in a video in detail about everything he has gone through since the final match of his career at the Buenos Aires in February 2022.

He lost to compatriot Federico Delbonis that match which was a bad memory for him, for he didn’t want to say goodbye to tennis in that manner. After that match against Delbonis, although he stopped hearing questions from the journalist about his comeback, it didn’t lessen his struggles at all, for his body has not yet recovered. Doctors have even advised him to get a prosthesis.

When he had his fifth surgery, the doctors advised him for another and he went to the USA to recover. He recalled having over 100 injections and other treatments including nerve burns and tendon blocks.

Juan Martin del Potro wants to forget his last match and for the same, he will be playing an exhibition event on December 1 in Buenos Aires. In the exhibition match, ‘The Final Challenge’, he will be locking horns with Novak Djokovic. In that aforementioned video, the Argentine explained how he started to prepare himself for the upcoming match.
