Bryce Harper is on a tear. The Philadelphia Phillies slugger crushed his third home run in four games on Friday, launching a no-doubter into the second deck at Citizens Bank Park off Miami Marlins ace Sandy Alcantara.
Facing an 0-2 count in the first inning, Harper turned on an inside cutter and sent it 418 feet for a two-ruHarper knew it was gone the moment he connected, watching the ball soar out of the park. The 89-mph cutter left the bat of the two-time National League MVP at 106 mph.n homer, bringing home shortstop Trea Turner to give the Phillies an early lead.

Bryce Harper’s hot streak began on Tuesday when he hit a two-run homer against the San Francisco Giants, helping the Phillies secure a 6-4 victory. He followed that performance with another two-run blast the next day. So far in the 2025 season, Harper has hit four home runs, with three coming in the past four days.
Earlier this week, Harper’s teammate Trea Turner helped reveal the gender of Harper’s fourth child with his wife, Kayla. Turner gave Harper a custom bat, which matched the baby’s gender. Harper then took the bright blue bat to the plate, announcing that he and Kayla are expecting a boy.
The eight-time All-Star is currently hitting .261/.400/.464 through the first 19 games of the season, as the Phillies sit in second place in the NL East with an 11-8 record.
