Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Jalen Royals was one of the 42 rookie players in attendance at this year’s NFLPA Rookie Premiere event in Los Angeles. He received marketing, branding, and income management details for the NFLPA orientation.
Royals took promotional photos with multiple content partners as he is becoming fully involved in the life of a professional athlete. He is a player to watch this season, as head coach Andy Reid spoke highly of him during the rookie minicamp.
“You can see his (Jalen Royals) talent for sure. He did a couple of good things yesterday, (we’ll) just see how he does today,” said Reid. “We load them up again today, and they actually have a walkthrough, so it’s very much like training camp. They have a walkthrough, and then they have the practice in the afternoon. Sometimes the second day can be a nice challenge for them with the overload part of it.”
Last season, Royals was named second-team All-Mountain West. He led Utah State with 55 receptions, 834 receiving yards, and tallied six touchdowns while starting seven games.
