LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers recently suffered their third straight loss, falling at the hands of the Orlando Magic.
Despite the recent rut from the Lakers, all eyes were on Bronny James and their G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, on Monday.
The G-League highlighted a career game from the Lakers rookie and South Bay followed it with a post that read, “Smiling his way to a new CAREER-HIGH.”
Bronny James capped off the game for the South Bay Lakers with 39 points and seven rebounds, knocking down four three-pointers.
“SMILE THROUGH IT ALL YOUNG!!!” LeBron James said. “KEEP GOING!!”
Bronny James has been a star for the South Bay Lakers all season. He was originally selected by Los Angeles with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and has since spent time with the Los Angeles Lakers and South Bay Lakers.
During his G-League run, Bronny James has averaged 20.6 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.

During his time with the Los Angeles Lakers, Bronny James has recorded 2.3 points. 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. So far in his rookie season, the former USC Trojans guard has played 23 games with the Los Angeles Lakers.
