This offseason is shaping up to be quite the memorable one for Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and his wife, Christen. The dynamic couple has much to look forward to, both personally and professionally.

They’re part of an ambitious investment group aiming to bring back a WNBA franchise to Detroit. Additionally, Christen is set to make her return to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue this May, adding another exciting milestone to the mix.
But perhaps the most thrilling news for the Goffs is that they’re expecting their first child.
The couple shared their wonderful news at the NFL Honors in New Orleans, where Christen, with a glowing presence and the beginnings of a baby bump, joined Jared on the red carpet. In celebration of this new chapter, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington expressed his hearty congratulations, touting the Goffs as two remarkable individuals who are sure to make incredible parents. Jared was there as a nominee for both MVP and NFL Man of the Year, making it a notably eventful evening.

Their story began back in 2019 when Jared and Christen met on Raya, the exclusive dating app for celebrities, during Jared’s time with the Los Angeles Rams. Contrary to what she might have expected, Christen found herself swept off her feet.
“I was truly not looking for anything at the time,” Christen shared. “I had just gotten out of a long relationship and I was trying to stay single for a year.
Then I met him and the rest is history, baby.”
The pair got engaged on a romantic vacation in Mexico in 2022 and tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in California last June. Now, in less than a year, the Goffs are preparing to expand their pride, pun intended.
Jared Goff has had an eventful start to the year. After a bittersweet exit in the NFC Divisional Round against the Washington Commanders, fortunes are turning.
He clinched MVP honors at the Pro Bowl Game and demonstrated his pinpoint accuracy by winning the precision passing event during the week’s festivities. If he captures the NFL Man of the Year award, it would be another accolade to an already remarkable year.
